Datapharm becomes an Associate PAGB member

Dec 13, 2023

Datapharm is excited to announce it has become an associate member of PAGB (the Proprietary Association of Great Britain).

Datapharm, a leading provider of UK medicines information solutions, is delighted to confirm its new associate membership status with PAGB, the consumer healthcare association representing manufacturers of branded over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, self-care medical devices and food supplements in the UK.

The move brings Datapharm's expertise in developing medicines information compliance solutions as well as its insight into user engagement on emc (medicines.org.uk), supporting PAGB's dedication to ensuring balanced and responsible marketing of OTC medicines to improve patient outcomes.

"We are thrilled to have joined as an associate member with PAGB and contribute to improved outcomes for consumers of medicines. Digital medicines information is our core strength, so this is a significant opportunity to help drive progress on PAGB’s strategic priorities and advance accessibility to, and engagement with, vital information on UK OTC medicines." said Rich Cooper, CEO at Datapharm.

As a newly joined member, Datapharm looks forward to further supporting Pharma companies navigating around their compliance challenges with providing non-promotional information for branded OTC medicines. Datapharm’s unique perspective on patients engaging with safety information on emc also brings an added advantage to those interested in gathering insights to support successful communications around their products.

Datapharm and PAGB will be hosting a webinar, ‘Uncovering audience insights and maintaining up-to-date medicines information, from the providers of emc’ on 24 January 2024. If you are a PAGB member and would like to learn more, webinar details will be revealed soon via the PAGB website.
